Curiosity before compliance
A quiet classroom is not the goal. We want children who ask why, and teachers who have the time to answer.
About us
Westbridge Academy serves families in Rawalpindi Cantt who want an English-medium primary education without oversized classrooms.
Our approach
Most primary schools are good at one of two things: academic results or pastoral care. We think that is a false choice at primary level, and that both come from the same source — a teacher who has few enough children to actually know them.
So we start there. Classes are capped at twenty children to one teacher. From that one decision follows everything else: marking that comes back the next day, reading heard aloud individually, and a parent conversation that is about your child rather than the class average.
We teach in English from Kindergarten, follow the Cambridge Primary framework, and treat Islamiyat and Nazra as core timetabled subjects rather than an add-on.

What we value
A quiet classroom is not the goal. We want children who ask why, and teachers who have the time to answer.
Small classes are not a marketing line. They are the mechanism that makes everything else on this page possible.
Honesty, courtesy and responsibility are part of the timetable and part of how staff are expected to behave in front of children.
A child who reads fluently by Grade 3 can teach themselves almost anything afterwards. We protect reading time fiercely.
For parents
A note on class sizes. A 1:20 cap only means something if a school actually turns children away once a class is full. We do, and you are welcome to ask how many places remain in your child’s year group before you apply.

The best way to judge a school is to stand in a classroom. Write to us and we will arrange a visit during school hours — 8:00 am – 1:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
